Silk’n Flash & Go Hair Removal
Replacement Cartridges – Silk’n Flash & Go
Silk’n Flash & Go is not a laser. People call all types of HIL (high intensity light) hair removers “lasers”, technically this is not accurate. Silk’n Flash & Go’s IPL removes hair using a high intensity flash tube instead of a laser (See Laser vs IPL). Each flash produces a short burst of light energy that acts on the melanin in the hair follicle. Each Silk’n Flash & Go Cartridge lasts either 100,000 or 300,000 flashes – Above.

The light heats the melanin which results in inhibiting the follicle’s ability to grow hair. Repeated application of the light disables the follicle resulting in permanent hair removal. Also See How Long For Permanent Hair Removal?
After the first treatment, you will notice your hair grows back noticeably slower and finer. Like all high intensity light hair removers including lasers, the Silk’n works best on those with skin tones lighter than their hair color.
Instructions For Silk’n Flash & Go

IMPORTANT: Do not wax or pluck hair before a Silk’n treatment as these methods remove the hair follicle. *Before your first treatment, try a few pulses at lowest setting to see how your skin reacts. 1.) Press the power button briefly. The LED for Power Setting 1 will light. After about one second, the Ready LED will light.
NOTE: The device is now set to the lowest power setting. It will stay at the lowest power until you change it by pressing the power button until desired setting is reached. It is recommended you apply the first treatment on the lowest power level.
2.) To begin, simply hold the Silk’n directly on skin and press the activation button. After the unit flashes, move on the the next area. This is repeated until the entire area is complete. Normal application time for both legs is approximately 10 to 20 minutes.
The Silk’n Flash & Go has 5 comfort settings and as a safety feature, the first 50 flashes use the lowest setting. After the first 50 flashes, you can adjust to level 3 for 200 flashes after which you can use any setting you like. To achieve fast, permanent hair removal, you should use the highest possible setting as long as it does not irritate your skin.
